Robyn Hammond – Inspiration & Creative Process

"The natural world is my main source of inspiration, especially native Australian plants. Flowers, leaves, and intricate details found in nature provide endless possibilities for creating textures, patterns, and colour combinations.

I love going for walks in local parks and nature reserves, sketching and photographing plants in detail. My sketches are then painted, scanned, and digitised to create seamless repeats or placement art prints. I enjoy applying textures and experimenting with various layers, whether digital or painted.

I can envisage my fabric designs being used on a variety of home decor projects as well as apparel and accessories, especially by lovers of the Australian flora and fauna."
